The Book of Daniel prophesies that Iran, if Iran is the end-times Persia of the prophecy, will experience significant economic and political growth under successive Ayatollahs. These rulers, symbolized by the four heads, will likely derive their authority from religious influence, as symbolized by the four wings of the prophetic leopard.

A growing rivalry between Iran and Turkey (representing Javen in the Old Testament) is expected to emerge as Turkey’s influence increases. This rivalry erupts into a major conflict, marking the beginning of the events described in the Book of Revelation.

The significance in the current events is that we understand the process leading to the opening of the Tribulation develops over years and is subtle. Christians must keep watch and not lose focus on the approach of the end-times.
Israel will face significant challenges during this period, but it is prophesied that they will recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:10 NKJV)
